16mm Ivory Single Entry Bootlace Ferrules Bootlace Ferrules also known as Cord End Ferrules or Bootlace Terminals, are inserted over the end of a multi-stranded wire cable and crimped to bind them together giving a factory finish to the ends of your cable. In doing so, Bootlace Ferrules prevent the fine conductors from splaying out when fitted into a screw terminal, which would result in poor connection, higher resistance, and possible arching. These Bootlace Ferrules are made from Tin Plated Copper for maximum conductivity with a Coloured Vinyl Insulation. For a neat finish, these are often sealed with heat shrink tubing.
